Alexander Faribault House

Alexander Faribault House is a Greek Revival home near downtown Faribault, built in 1853 for the city’s namesake.

Alexander Faribault House

The historical society displays family possessions and objects connected with early Rice County residents inside the preserved building.

The photograph shows the actual house in winter. Tours are available by appointment, with at least 48 hours’ notice requested on the house’s visitor page. Confirm group size, admission and the designated parking area when booking. This is separate from the Rice County Museum of History elsewhere in town; arriving at that museum does not automatically secure a house tour.
