Armand Bayou Nature Center protects a large natural landscape of wetlands, forest, and prairie in Pasadena.

Trails and interpretive programs connect visitors with the habitats and wildlife of the bayou area, offering a substantial outdoor experience within the Houston region. The photograph shows the bayou waters associated with the preserve.
Check admission, current trail conditions, and the program calendar before arriving. Guided paddles, cruises, and other activities have separate reservations and meeting arrangements. Bring water and protection from sun and insects, stay on established routes, and observe wildlife quietly from a distance.
