Bald Mountain State Recreation Area

Different units offer distinct settings for a walk, water-based activity or seasonal outdoor recreation.

Choose a specific unit and entrance using the state’s current map. The photograph shows an actual lake within the recreation area. Swimming facilities, water-park attractions, rentals and cabin bookings have their own seasons and requirements. Review current hunting notices and trail designations before setting out. Vehicle access can require a Recreation Passport, and a park visit does not automatically include commercial activities or reserved facilities.
