Bates College Museum of Art

Its galleries provide a public cultural destination that connects a college collection with changing displays of art.

Consult the museum’s current exhibition calendar and opening information before arrival. Campus holidays and installation periods can affect gallery access, and a college building’s opening hours may differ from the museum’s. The photograph shows the museum entrance rather than a current exhibition. Check photography guidance and arrangements for group visits, and use the designated visitor entrance and campus parking information.
