Battery Point Lighthouse and Museum

The lighthouse’s red roof, white walls and coastal setting make it a distinctive landmark, while guided interpretation connects the station with local maritime history.

The foot crossing is possible only when tides and conditions allow; check the historical society’s guidance for the outward and return journey. Interior tours have their own seasonal and weather-dependent arrangements. The photograph shows the lighthouse exterior. Do not use an inland museum-office address as the entrance to this coastal site.
