Beaverton Downtown Historic District preserves a compact commercial townscape associated with the city’s early growth.

One- and two-story masonry buildings, together with an older surviving house, reflect the relationship between local trade, streets and the railway.
The photograph shows the actual downtown district in an earlier streetscape view. Use National Register documentation and current city maps for an exterior walk on public sidewalks around the Farmington Road and Watson Street area. Businesses and cultural premises have independent opening times. Historic designation provides no general access to offices or private interiors. Stay clear of railway tracks and respect occupied entrances.
