Bothe-Napa Valley State Park offers woodland trails and shaded outdoor recreation between Calistoga and St.

Helena. Stands of redwoods, Douglas-fir and other trees create a different landscape from the vineyards that dominate many Napa Valley visits.
Check the park map, current fire restrictions and admission information before choosing a route. Camping, cabins and the seasonal swimming pool have separate arrangements, and dogs are restricted to developed areas rather than trails. The photograph shows moss-draped woodland within the park.
