Boyd Lake State Park brings lake-based recreation and open views to the edge of Loveland.

Shoreline areas, trails and camping opportunities make it a useful base for an outdoor day in northern Colorado.
Check Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s current notices before bringing a boat or planning around marina services; the park reports that the marina is closed with a possible return in 2027. Other activities and access areas may remain available under their own rules. Review pass, camping and water-condition information and choose a plan suited to the season.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
