Bryant Park meets the water at the eastern end of West Grand Traverse Bay, pairing a sandy beach with a shaded grassy area and play space.

It is a compact Traverse City destination for a beach break, a picnic or simply watching the bay.
Check current water-quality notices and seasonal facilities before planning to swim. The city permits leashed dogs in the park but excludes them from the beach, so choose the appropriate route when bringing a pet. The photograph shows an earlier view toward the waterfront; conditions and available services vary.
