Cadillac Ranch

Cadillac Ranch turns ten cars buried nose-first in a field west of Amarillo into a continually changing public artwork.

Cadillac Ranch

Created by the Ant Farm art collective, the installation combines automobile design, roadside culture, and layers of visitor-applied paint. Kevin Dunlap's photograph shows the recognizable row of colorful cars at the actual site.

Use the designated roadside access and walk into the field rather than stopping on the interstate. Check current visitor guidance and conditions, since the ground can become muddy after rain. Expect an exposed outdoor setting, respect the property's rules, and remove any litter or empty paint containers you bring.
