Cadron Settlement Park near Conway combines Arkansas River scenery with interpretation of a historically important meeting and transport place.

Its reconstructed blockhouse represents a former trading and gathering structure, while trails and riverside areas provide a wider outdoor setting.
Give attention to the park’s Indigenous history and its association with the forced Cherokee removal along the Trail of Tears. The blockhouse is a replica, not an original surviving eighteenth-century building. Check current trail and facility access, and arrange reserved pavilions separately. Follow posted guidance around the river and protected cultural areas.
