Castle Rock Museum

Its displays connect the building’s transport role with the development of Castle Rock and the people who lived and worked in the surrounding Douglas County landscape.

Review current public days and exhibitions before arriving at the depot on Elbert Street. The photograph shows the preserved station exterior. Walking tours, historical talks and research assistance have separate arrangements from ordinary museum visiting. Allow time to explore local stories beyond the railway building itself, and contact the historical society for organized groups or access requirements.
