Open grounds and activity facilities offer different reasons to visit, from an informal outdoor break to a planned sports or aquatic program.

Check the park district’s current map, facility schedules and reservations before planning a specific activity. Indoor and aquatic facilities have separate arrangements from ordinary grounds access. The photograph shows the park in a snowy earlier season rather than current path conditions or evidence that winter activities are authorized on every open surface.
