The Charles Allis Art Museum presents art and historic interiors in a Milwaukee mansion designed for Charles and Sarah Allis.

The collection and changing exhibitions connect the couple’s bequest with the city’s artistic and industrial history.
The photograph shows the mansion during an earlier visit. Current autumn opening is limited to Thursday–Saturday, and special events can alter admission. Enter through the coach-house door on the Royall Place driveway, following the museum’s current directions. Check exhibitions and ticket arrangements before travelling, and ask staff about accessible routes and any historic rooms requiring steps.
