Charnley-Norwood House in Ocean Springs preserves a coastal residence associated with Louis Sullivan and the early work of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Its low forms and connected rooms offer a different architectural experience from the period’s more elaborate Victorian houses.
The archival photograph shows the house in an earlier period, before later damage and restoration. Current tours are by request through the Mississippi Gulf Coast National Heritage Area; arrange access rather than expecting daily walk-in entry. Respect the surrounding property and discuss mobility or group needs in advance.
