Cheekwood Estate and Gardens combines an art museum in a historic mansion with extensive planted grounds on Nashville's western side.

Formal gardens, woodland settings, and outdoor sculpture create a sequence of different landscapes, while the house gives the estate's history a tangible center. Seasonal displays and exhibitions change the emphasis throughout the year.
Allow several hours and choose a route that includes both indoor and outdoor areas. Special events can have separate admission and timed entry, so check current garden, mansion, and exhibition arrangements before booking.
