Chinese Reconciliation Park combines shoreline paths, a Chinese-style pavilion, and interpretation on Tacoma's Commencement Bay waterfront.

The park acknowledges the expulsion of Tacoma's Chinese community in 1885 and supports reflection on reconciliation and civic inclusion. Its landscape gives that history a visible place within the city.
Check current access and event information before arriving on Schuster Parkway. Read the interpretation as part of the visit and respect commemorative gatherings. Stay on designated routes, take care near the shoreline, and confirm any guided or organized activity through the project foundation rather than expecting a staffed tour every day.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
