Full-size railway artifacts, including a historic caboose, add context to the model displays. The photograph shows the actual museum building.

Check current opening days and holiday closures before traveling; the operator directs general visitors to buy tickets at the door. Interactive activities provide options for families, but visitors should not touch the operating railway layout. Group visits and special tours have separate arrangements. Allow time to explore the displays rather than treating the building as a brief station stop.
