Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park protects a broad wooded landscape near Issaquah and Bellevue.

Its trails reveal streams, forest habitats and traces of earlier industrial use within the developed eastern side of the Seattle metropolitan area.
Choose a named trailhead and current route map before traveling; the park has several approaches. The photograph shows Coal Creek Falls, one feature within the trail landscape. Water flow varies, and wet paths require suitable footwear. Stay on permitted routes, respect restoration areas and check current rules for bikes, horses and dogs rather than assuming every trail supports every activity.
