Cross Orchards Historic Site

Its packing-shed setting and railroad-related material introduce the agricultural economy of the Grand Valley in the early twentieth century.

Check the operator’s current seasonal calendar before travelling. At review, the site specifically lists October 24–25, 2026 as closure dates, taking priority over its usual weekend opening. Demonstrations, markets and special programs follow their own schedules. The photograph shows the entrance during an earlier visit, and does not indicate that every building or piece of equipment is available without supervision.
