Croydon Creek Nature Center in Rockville connects indoor environmental exhibits with trails along the John G.

Hayes Forest Preserve. Woodland, meadow and creek habitats provide opportunities to observe local wildlife and seasonal changes.
Check building and trail hours separately before arriving. The photograph shows the creek landscape associated with the nature center rather than the building. Programs and guided activities may require registration even though ordinary center admission is free. Keep to designated paths, follow leash rules and avoid disturbing animals or stream habitats while exploring the surrounding preserve.
