Crystal Cove State Park combines Pacific beaches, coastal bluffs and inland chaparral canyons along the Orange County coast.

Its historic beach cottages add another layer to a landscape that offers both shoreline walks and more demanding inland routes.
Choose the relevant access area before setting out, since the coast, historic district and backcountry involve different routes and facilities. Check California State Parks’ current notices, parking arrangements and trail conditions. Respect tide-dependent access and protected habitats along the shore, and prepare for exposed terrain if you plan to hike away from the beach.
