Detroit Zoo offers a large zoological visitor destination across the Royal Oak and Huntington Woods area.

A network of paths connects animal habitats and supporting facilities, allowing visitors to shape an outing around different interests.
Check current admission, parking and opening information before travelling, with separate arrangements for special evening events and optional experiences. Individual habitats can close for animal care or maintenance. The photograph shows an aerial overview centered on the zoo’s water tower rather than a particular animal encounter or a guarantee that every exhibit is available.
