- Glendale
Deukmejian Wilderness Park offers foothill scenery and trails on Glendale's northern edge.

Routes lead through a landscape of scrub, slopes, and canyon terrain, with views opening toward the city below. The preserved Le Mesnager setting adds a local historical connection near the lower part of the park.
Check current city trail and fire-related notices before choosing a route. Bring ample water and sun protection, and allow for elevation gain rather than assuming every walk is level. Stay on marked trails, respect closures, and plan to return to the visitor area before the park closes.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
