Dripping Springs Natural Area offers trails and historic ruins at the foot of the Organ Mountains east of Las Cruces.

Rocky terrain, desert vegetation, and remnants of former resort buildings create a visit that combines landscape with human history. The photograph looks outward across the surrounding terrain toward the distant city.
Check Bureau of Land Management alerts, opening arrangements, and fees before choosing a route. Carry water and sun protection, expect uneven ground, and leave historic structures undisturbed. Conditions can change quickly in the desert foothills, so follow posted closures and plan to return before the area closes.
