Ellwood House Museum

The mansion and surrounding buildings connect the Ellwood family with the city’s development and the regional history of barbed-wire manufacturing.

Check the museum’s current visitor information for tour availability, seasonal arrangements and access to particular buildings. Interior visits are guided rather than unrestricted entry throughout the week. The photograph shows the house exterior in 2022, not the current room displays. Grounds access, special exhibitions and organized programs may have different arrangements, so confirm the parts of the visit that matter to your plans.
