The Eugene V. Debs Museum preserves the Terre Haute home of Eugene and Katherine Debs.

Personal possessions and historical interpretation connect the house with labor history, political organizing and the couple’s domestic life.
Admission is free, with regular guided visits Tuesday through Saturday and other times available by arrangement. The museum currently warns that the building is not wheelchair accessible and that upper floors require stairs; contact staff about alternative interpretation. The photograph shows the actual house exterior. Check temporary closure notices before travelling to North Eighth Street, especially around special events and holidays.
