Fort Worth Zoo presents animal habitats and conservation interpretation across a large landscaped site south of the city's center.

Exhibits connect wildlife with the environments on which it depends, while the grounds make the visit a walking outing as much as a sequence of animal encounters. Different areas reward a considered route rather than constant backtracking.
Allow several hours and plan around weather, shade, and rest stops. Check the current map, habitat notices, and ticket arrangements, since animal visibility and individual facilities can change throughout the day.
