Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve protects a remnant wetland landscape within the urban South Bay.

Woodland, damp ground and habitat restoration offer a different view of Gardena from its surrounding streets, with public visits organized by the preserve’s friends group.
Plan around an announced public opening or arranged visit: the preserve is not an unrestricted daily walk-in park. The operator offers monthly visiting opportunities and restoration activities with their own requirements. The photograph shows the entrance and vegetation; wildlife sightings and trail conditions vary with season and weather.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
