The Henry B. Plant Museum occupies part of Tampa's former Tampa Bay Hotel, whose distinctive architecture now forms part of the University of Tampa campus.

Rooms and objects introduce the resort's history and the period of expansion connected with Plant's transport and hotel ventures. The surviving interiors offer a domestic-scale view of a much larger landmark.
Check current museum hours and tour arrangements before expecting access to the historic rooms. Allow time to look at the building's exterior, while respecting campus boundaries and any university events affecting surrounding spaces.
