The Heritage Center and Indian River Citrus Museum connect Vero Beach’s community history with the citrus industry that shaped the surrounding region.

Displays include photographs, tools and advertising material associated with growing, processing and marketing fruit.
Check the museum’s current visiting hours before arrival on 14th Avenue. The historic Heritage Center also hosts private events, so event access and ordinary museum visits follow different arrangements. The photograph shows the building exterior rather than a current exhibition installation. Allow time to look closely at the labels and archival images that explain how citrus became part of the area’s identity.
