Hicksville Gregory Museum combines natural history, earth sciences and Long Island history in the former Heitz Place Courthouse.

Its historic building provides an intimate setting for learning about minerals, fossils and the surrounding community.
The photograph shows the courthouse exterior, not the current arrangement of displays inside. Confirm opening and admission through the museum’s public contacts before arriving at Heitz Place. Group and school visits require separate arrangements from an ordinary gallery visit. The school district’s museum information explains its educational role; contact the museum directly about a particular specimen, program or accessibility requirement.
