Historic Kenmore in Fredericksburg preserves the home of Fielding and Betty Washington Lewis.
Its Georgian architecture and elaborate plasterwork provide a setting for interpreting family wealth, the labor of enslaved people and the upheavals of the Revolutionary era.
Book a current guided house tour and check in at the visitor center. The photograph shows the house. Grounds access follows operating hours, and the separate Ferry Farm property requires its own travel and ticket planning.
