Hubbard Park offers a wooded river retreat in Shorewood.

A pedestrian tunnel beneath the Oak Leaf Trail leads into terraced grounds beside the Milwaukee River, where paths and rustic buildings reflect a long recreation history.
The photograph shows the pedestrian access during an earlier visit. Village park space is generally used on a first-come basis, with public events taking priority; lodge dining and private bookings follow separate arrangements. Grilling, tents and amplified sound are not permitted in village parks. Check current notices and river conditions, and confirm the accessible approach suitable for your group.
