Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center provides a major history and education destination in Skokie.

Its exhibitions and programs support understanding of the Holocaust, remembrance and reflection on human rights.
The Skokie museum is closed for renovation in October 2026 and is scheduled to reopen November 11; confirm the operator’s latest notice before making plans. Experience360 in downtown Chicago is a separate location with different visitor arrangements. The photograph shows the Skokie building before the renovation, not an open gallery today. Group tours and reopening visits should be planned through current museum information.
