Jefferson Landing State Historic Site preserves a group of riverfront-era buildings below Missouri’s capitol in Jefferson City.

Exhibits and surviving architecture connect river commerce, travel and everyday work with the development of the state capital.
Check the current Missouri State Parks schedule to see which buildings and exhibits are open. The photograph shows part of the preserved landing complex. Interior displays, group tours and seasonal programs have their own arrangements, while nearby rail and road activity remain part of the working city. Allow time to compare the buildings and follow marked public access between them.
