Joe Davies Heritage Airpark displays retired aircraft associated with the design, production, modification, and testing work of Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale.
The outdoor collection connects the Antelope Valley's aerospace industry with recognizable military and civilian aircraft. The photograph shows one of the aircraft on static display.
Check the city's current opening days and visitor notices before arriving, since the airpark is not open continuously. Plan for sun and wind while walking outdoors and follow posted boundaries around aircraft. Neighboring Blackbird Airpark is a separate collection with its own visitor arrangements.
