Jordan Lake State Recreation Area protects and manages several recreation sites around the reservoir west of Raleigh, with visitor services near Apex.

Woodland, shore access and wildlife viewing offer options for both short visits and longer outdoor stays.
Select an access area from the state park’s current map before traveling; the sites are spread around a large lake. The photograph shows the Ebenezer Church shore, one part of the recreation area. Camping, swimming beaches, boating and group sites follow separate rules and seasons. Check water, weather and closure notices, and never assume that every shoreline is public or supervised.
