Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve protects Lake Michigan bluffs, woodland and wetland habitat in the Town of Grafton.

Trails and boardwalks lead to elevated views, while stairs provide a more demanding route toward the shoreline below the steep bluff.
Check current park notices and seasonal hunting information before choosing a route. There is no accessible path down to the beach, and shoreline conditions can change quickly. Stay back from bluff edges and use designated paths. The photograph shows part of the preserve’s lakefront landscape rather than every trail or access point.
