Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site interprets the 1957 desegregation crisis and the experiences of the Little Rock Nine.

The site connects a nationally significant civil rights story with an active school and its surrounding neighborhood, making respectful, informed visiting especially important.
Start with National Park Service visitor information and check whether a ranger-led program needs a reservation. The school remains in use, so interior access is controlled and should never be assumed. Leave time for interpretation and use designated visitor areas while respecting students and school operations.
