Lone Pine State Park offers trails and elevated viewpoints southwest of Kalispell.

Its hillside setting introduces visitors to the Flathead Valley landscape, with distant mountain views when weather and visibility permit.
Choose a route from the current Montana state-park map and check visitor-center opening and seasonal conditions before arrival. The photograph shows Kalispell and the distant mountains from the park during an earlier winter visit. It does not guarantee snow cover or clear views. Trail activities and educational programs follow their own arrangements, and winter footing can differ substantially from summer conditions.
