Magoffin Home preserves a nineteenth-century adobe residence in El Paso.

Its territorial architecture and family collections introduce the history of a household whose connections crossed the Southwest borderlands. Visiting the building offers a more intimate view of the city's past than a large general-history gallery.
Check current tour times, admission, and visitor-center instructions through the Texas Historical Commission before arriving. Interior access follows museum arrangements rather than ordinary grounds access. Reserve organized groups and ask about accessibility for the historic rooms if that affects your plans.
