Martha Lake Airport Park transforms a former airfield into public recreation space in the Martha Lake community.

Paths, open grounds and a large glacial boulder add interest beyond the park’s developed activity areas.
The playground and picnic shelter are closed for construction from October through December 2026; check county notices before planning a visit around those facilities. Other areas have their own access and seasonal arrangements. The photograph shows the airplane-inspired entrance sign rather than current construction. Follow fencing and posted routes, and check winter restroom availability and the separate rules for the off-leash dog area.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
