Middlesex Fells Reservation
- Nature reserve
- Regional draw
- Medford
Middlesex Fells Reservation protects a large landscape of woods, rocky hills and reservoirs across several communities north of Boston.

Its extensive trail network allows anything from a short woodland walk to a more demanding route.
Choose a specific entrance and trail using current DCR maps; routes and permitted activities vary across the reservation. Respect water-supply restrictions and avoid unauthorized reservoir access. The photograph shows one wooded reservoir landscape rather than the entire reserve or a guarantee that every shoreline is open.
