Mission San Luis interprets a seventeenth-century Apalachee and Spanish community in Tallahassee.

Reconstructed buildings and archaeological interpretation provide context for the people who lived, worked, and worshipped at the site. The photograph shows the reconstructed Apalachee council house rather than a surviving original structure.
The Tennessee Street entrance is temporarily closed for construction; use the west entrance at 2021 Mission Road. Check current admission, hours, and demonstration schedules before arriving. Living-history activities vary by day, and school or organized group visits should be arranged in advance.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
