Mosswood Park combines mature trees and open recreation grounds with the surviving nineteenth-century Moss estate house.

Its historic landscape provides an outdoor retreat amid the busy streets of central Oakland.
The photograph shows the actual park and entrance sign. The replacement recreation center opened in summer 2026, with programs and room use following their own schedules. Use current city notices for park access and booked activities. General outdoor admission does not provide interior access to the historic mansion. Follow designated routes, respect community gatherings and check facility information before relying on a particular play or sports area.
