Museum of Flying explores aviation history beside Santa Monica Airport, with a strong connection to Donald Douglas and the aircraft industry of Southern California.

Aircraft, artifacts and interpretive displays connect the story of flight with the local companies and people behind it.
Check current museum hours and any special programs before visiting, as access is separate from the airport’s operations. Allow time for the historical displays as well as the aircraft themselves; the local manufacturing story is an important part of the experience. Follow the museum’s directions to Airport Avenue rather than navigating to a general airport terminal.
