Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture explores contemporary popular culture in a distinctive building at Seattle Center. Music and other forms of creative expression provide ways into a museum whose earlier name, Experience Music Project, still appears in historical material about the site.

Check the current exhibitions before arriving and choose the areas that interest you most. Confirm admission and any special-event arrangements, and allow time to engage with sound and interactive material rather than treating the building only as an architectural stop.
