Public Square, Watertown

Its landscaped islands, monuments and surrounding historic streetscape provide an outdoor starting point for exploring the city center.

Use public sidewalks and marked crossings when moving around the square, which is surrounded by active streets. The photograph shows the area in 2008 rather than today’s businesses or traffic arrangements. Check current city notices before an event visit. A walk through the square does not include access to private buildings, and individual shops or cultural venues follow their own opening schedules.
