Quincy Quarries Reservation preserves a dramatic landscape left by the granite industry that helped shape Quincy.

Exposed rock faces and former quarry workings give the site a distinctive appearance and connect it to the area’s stonecutting and early railway history.
Use the Massachusetts park information to plan access and choose an appropriate walking route. Uneven surfaces and steep edges require care, and climbing calls for suitable experience and equipment. Even without climbing, the reservation offers an unusual look at an industrial landscape that has become a place for outdoor recreation.
